National Charity League Partnership
The Sacramento Valley Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is pleased to announce our partnership with the Granite Bay Area Chapter of The National Charity League (NCL). The Granite Bay Chapter was founded in 1998 and incorporated in 2001. Their philosophy is to initiate and encourage members to work as mother-daughter teams doing “hands-on” philanthropy activities. In addition to philanthropic service, the NCL experience provides opportunities for both mother and daughters to develop as leaders, learning new skills which they develop through on-the-job experience. The chapter has provided almost 800 volunteer hours to local and regional charities. We look forward to this exciting partnership.
