Bake for the Cure campaign
Following a successful 2007 inaugural Bake for the Cure program, which raised $250,000 for Komen for the Cure, the program has been expanded for 2008. Since baking is a traditional family activity that people do to share with others, it's a great way to let people raise funds for something as crucial as finding the cures for breast cancer.
Bake for the Cure(R) let's consumers participate in two ways to raise funds for Komen. The local Sacramento Affiiate benefits by customers either purchasing ACH Food Company products that carry the Bake for the Cure pink ribbon and also by visiting the program website and posting, sending or downloading favorite recipes. You can participate when you buy any of these ACH Food Company products anytime from October through December: Spice Islands Vanilla, Karo Corn Syrup, Mazola Cooking Oil or Fleischmann's Yeast.
