The support of the business community is an important part of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure story, both locally and nationally. Komen Sacramento is constantly building partnerships with companies that share our drive to find a cure for breast cancer in our life times. By joining forces we believe we will get there faster and more effectively.
- Race sponsorships - the Sacramento Race for the Cure attracts over 20,000 registrants each year, and garners significant media exposure for our sponsors.
- Event hosting - Third Party Events offer an opportunity for local businesses to hold a fundraising event to benefit the Affiliate. We encourage you to review our guidelines and submit an application.
- In-kind contributions - our goal is to direct as much of our income as possible to providing screenings, services and support to families in our 17 county Affiliate area. Contributions of office equipment, supplies and other items reduce our overhead and allow us to direct funds to important programs.
