Community Health Grants

This year, Komen Sacramento awarded over $750,000 to 21 local non-profit organizations covering Komen's 19 county service area. For questions regarding the Community Health Grant, please contact Melen Vue at melen@komensacramento.org or call 916-231-3148.

The 2014 Request for Application Grantwriting and Networking Conference is now available in two locations. Komen Sacramento will be introducing the NEW online Grants eManagement System. It is REQUIRED that all organizations who wish to submit a grant proposal for innovative breast health and breast cancer projects for FY 2014 attend ONE of the Grantwriting & Networking Conference. Small Grants

The Komen Sacramento Valley Affiliate is currently offering grants up to $5,000 to support breast health education projects, conference, and travel scholarships.  Small grant applications are accepted four times a year. For information on the small grant, please click here.  

Grant Eligibility 

To be eligible to apply for a Komen Grant (Community Health and Small Grant), your organization must be:

  • A federally tax-exempt entity - nonprofit organization, government agency, educational institution or Indian Tribe.
  • Located in the specified affiliate service area.
