Community Health Grants

In 2014, the Sacramento Valley Affiliate awarded $500,000 to 13 local non-profit organizations covering Komen's 19 county service area.

Interested in applying for a grant from Komen, the 2014 Request for Application is now available. If you're a new applicant or have new staff, it is required that you attend the Grant Writing & Networking Conference. Please download the Registration Form and fax it to 916-231-3147 or email it to

Small Grants

The Komen Sacramento Valley Affiliate is currently offering grants up to $5,000 to support breast health education projects, conference, and travel scholarships.  Small grant applications are accepted four times a year. For information on the small grant, please click here.  

Grant Eligibility 

To be eligible to apply for a Komen Grant (Community Health and Small Grant), your organization must be:

  • A federally tax-exempt entity - nonprofit organization, government agency, educational institution or Indian Tribe.
  • Located in the specified affiliate service area.
